Less clutter.
More room for web content.

Native from the start

Built with Swift and Apple's WebKit. About 6 MB to download. It doesn't track what you browse.

Bezel-less window

A thin glass border instead of a toolbar. Press ⌘B and the page gets the whole window.

Hold ⌘ to switch

Hold ⌘ to see a number on each tab, then press it. It works with the tabs hidden too.

Unload tabs later

Unload a tab after a few minutes, when its video ends, or at a time you pick.

Tabs

Tabs on the side or on top.

Choose Sidebar Tabs or Top Tabs in Settings. It switches right away, and your pages stay open.

Pinned tabs

Pin the sites you use every day. They stay first in both layouts.

Volume per tab

A tab playing sound shows a speaker. Click it to turn just that tab up or down.

Picture in Picture

Press ⌘E and the video keeps playing in a small window while you browse.

Saved

Keep links in folders.

Save a tab from its menu and it goes into Saved. Make folders, drag links in, and open them from the sidebar or from the Saved button in Top Tabs.

Passwords

Passwords and passkeys.

Password AutoFill with Apple Passwords is built in. Prefer 1Password? Switch in Settings. Sites that support passkeys work too.

Password AutoFill requires macOS 15.4 or later.

Chrome extensions

Install extensions from the Chrome Web Store, right inside TinyWeb. Most of them work. A few need features WebKit doesn't have yet.

Requires macOS 15.4 or later.

Your shortcuts

Search, change or clear any shortcut in Settings. Restore the defaults whenever you like.

Turn your favorite website into an app

Turn a website you use every day into its own Mac app, with a custom icon. It can keep its cookies and sign-ins apart from TinyWeb.

Why TinyWeb

Yes, another browser.

There are a lot of browsers out there, and many look alike. We know. TinyWeb is for people who want a small, native browser that stays out of the way and keeps working. We use it every day, we are here for the long run, and we will keep it in step with each new macOS design.

Small by design

We only add what we would use ourselves. The download is still about 6 MB.

Stable first

Updates download in the background and install when you quit. No prompts in the middle of your work.

Made for macOS

TinyWeb follows Apple's latest design, like the new glass in macOS 26 and later.
